Quiet Sounds©
The Multi-Frequency Wave Sequence

Quiet Sounds was created using the gift of the dolphins and their unique ability to bring the human body into resonance with the natural frequency pulsation of the planet upon which we live. This “wave” allows us to maintain balance rather than entrain to the disruptions that are caused by the many frequencies being received by us each moment

.....Quiet Sounds is a simple sine wave series of pulses created to maintain harmony. The gentle pulsing rhythms – frequencies – are computer generated providing consistent pulsing within a specific range to induce highly specific brain states. Just as we can tune a radio to get a particular station, with this technology we can tune our consciousness to dial-in a wide variety of brain states which are in concert with our original blueprint

.....Another important aspect of Quiet Miracles deals with the very functions that the HeartMath Institute studies have shown to be affected, the autonomic nervous system, brain function and blood pressure. Until we are comfortable with our new-found awareness, we have simple tools to use to bring about the physiological changes necessary to balance the autonomic nervous system by sending signals which are instantly recognized.

It has been demonstrated that certain stimuli, such as infrasound and music, have a positive affect on the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system has the job of perceiving the internal environment and – after processing the information in the central nervous system – regulating the functions of the internal environment. The tasks performed by the autonomic nervous system are so massive it would require a computer 100 stories high, covering the surface of the state of Texas, to duplicate its work.

SOUND

.....Today's lifestyles have changed significantly from the time of our early ancestors whose distractions were often times life threatening...running from danger, and then calming down as the danger passed. Today, we live in a "fight or flight" state of being most of the time. This continuous feeling of stress seems so natural we are unaware that what we consider relaxation is, in fact, still stress.

.....
We are constantly being stimulated by sounds. Unlike the distractions of ages past, these sounds are continuous and have become an accepted part of our existence. We wake up with them, spend our day with them and go to bed still listening, failing to recognize their effect on the body.

.....In a recent article from Self Healing, Dr. Andrew Weil suggests: One way to see how sound effects your consciousness is to turn down the sound tract of the next video you watch --- whether it's a thriller or a romance --- and note how our level of engagement changes. In fact, it is often the soundtracks of films more than the images that influence our emotional responses.

The Science of Sound

.....Some music can be immediately exhilarating but later become fatiguing. Music scores for action or urban macho films and sounds from hard rock, "acid" rock or rap music are examples of this. Most television advertisements have a high percentage of rough sounds that are often made through synthesizers. These sounds are very stimulating to the adrenal glands. The ads create an "entrainment" wave that enters the body and hooks you. Child care attendants and teachers have noticed that when an advertisement comes on the screen both babies and youngsters turn their attention toward the television. Perhaps you have noticed this yourself.

.....Today's world is noisy and encourages this "entrainment" by providing many entertainment options via television, radio and movies. Perhaps it is time to consider providing sound options that support the body rather than those that interrupt its natural rhythm. As we seek balance in our lives, it becomes necessary to consciously integrate positive rhythms into our environment.

.....Janalea Hoffman, a music therapist, provides the following information: Your internal body rhythms - heartbeat, blood pressure, and breathing - always try to harmonize with external rhythms. This is the basis of the "ENTRAINMENT THEORY"; two vibrating bodies near one another will harmonize. Your heart near another's will find a mutual pace. This is the secret of Janalea's compositions. Using the theory that the body tries to synchronize with external rhythms, she composes music at exactly 50 and 60 beats a minute... The music at this slow steady rate provides you a point of reference to control your own physiological states. The effect of using this specially metered music is that the person feels an empowerment over their body, including their pain, thru gaining control of their body rhythms.

.....When we bring heart rhythm, breathing patterns and brain waves into a synchronized state and allow the bodymind to remain there briefly, we begin to physiologically re-pattern and reset to our natural rhythm. We are remembering our Original Blueprint design…the feeling is one of complete peace…not depressed, just calm and relaxed. Quoting from The HeartMath Solution, When your body is in entrainment, its major systems work in harmony. Your biological systems operate at higher efficiency because of that harmony, and as a result you think and feel better. As we examine this statement, it is important to remember that it is true only when we are entrained to things which are in harmony with our Original Blueprint design.

.....Rhythm is a very important component of Quiet Sounds, but there was another component that proved to be as important. Jonathan Goldman, author of Healing Sounds, The Power of Harmonics, says: Sound is a vibrational energy which takes the form of waves. These waves are scientifically measured in units called hertz (‘hz") which measure the cycles per second which this energy creates. This rate is objectively known as the ‘frequency’.

Dolphins and Sound

.....As we look at the adverse effects of frequencies upon the human body, we must also take notice of the phenomenon of the dolphins and their positive influence upon the human body. These highly evolved creatures actually emit energy and sound vibration which have been found to stimulate the release of endorphins and serotonin, chemicals released by the brain that profoundly affect our mental and emotional states. What’s more, dolphins have been known to elicit extreme emotional reactions in people – a phenomenon dolphin researchers suggest may be a result of their impact on the limbic system, the most primitive portion of the human brain.

.....Neuroscientist, Dr. John Lilly, suggests that the dolphin’s brain waves equate with those in the alpha and theta region, which in humans accompany the meditative state. Just being in the water with dolphins is said to trigger alpha brain waves (8Hz-13Hz). Alpha waves are associated with feelings of relaxation and serenity such as you would feel while starring at a blazing fire, listening to pleasant music or sitting by the ocean. The Alpha state accesses the wealth of creativity that lies just below our consciousness. Dr. Lilly theorizes that dolphins silently pulse infrasonic frequencies of approximately 6Hz outward which attune the human brain waves to the theta state (4Hz-7Hz). The Theta state is the optimal level for deep thought. The senses are withdrawn from the external environment and focused on the internal environment. The Theta state is known as the gateway to learning and memory. While in this state, we can reduce the stressors and awaken our intuitive and extrasensory perception skills.

Disease and Sound

.....Dr. Royal Raymond Rife, a pioneer in the field of Bio-Medicine, demonstrated that every disease has its own frequency. His research showed how pulsed electromagnetic energy affected disease at the cellular level. German physicist, W.D. Schumann detected in 1954 what is known as the Schumann Resonance. These electromagnetic waves exist in the earth’s electromagnetic cavity (the space between the earth’s surface and the ionosphere). His work demonstrated that exposing living cells to the Schumann Resonance had the effect of shielding the cells, increasing their immune protection and decreasing the absorption of depression-inducing chemicals.

  • Is it possible that living beings were created to live in this natural electromagnetic environment known as Schumann Resonance?
  • What is our connection to the planet upon which we live?
  • Rather than just bombarding the body with specific frequencies to do a specific function, would a frequency “wave” be more in harmony with the original blueprint pattern?

Health and Sound

.....The hypothalamus is considered the chief-commander of the motor portion of the autonomic nervous system. E. Rossi, The Psychobiology of Mind-Body Healing, points out that several structures of the limbic system have a strong regulating influence on the autonomic nervous system. Any unresolved emotion or trauma can have a chronic effect on portions of the autonomic nervous system. Often times the emotional memory of an accident is a more common cause of chronic post-traumatic neck pain than the physical trauma itself. Dietrich Klinghradt, MD, PhD, states that unresolved emotional conflicts and unresolved emotional trauma can remain constantly active in the limbic system, part of our unconscious mind, and communicate via the limbic-hypothalamic axis with the autonomic nervous system. Sound is one way to reach these unresolved conflicts so that healing can begin.

.....Years of practice and discipline have been required to reach the heightened states of awareness that bring harmony. Today, we can use simple tools as reminders that we already KNOW what we need to do next. Like swimming with the playful dolphins, we receive the healing signals and respond.
